Met Plaizier's collaborative table is an opportunity to have an intimate lunch with a speaker. This speaker shares her expertise in her field of activity, her background, advice, and connections with you. A moment of exchange in all simplicity. 

On Thursday 12 May, the collaborative table welcomes Noémie De Clercq, consultant in sustainable food and founder of Mingle Food. 

Passionate and experienced in the sustainable food sector, Noémie helps daily, companies developing their food projects. 

Born into a family that loves good food, with a mother who has a restaurant and a father who cooks every night, Noémie fell into the food business when she was a child. She studied communication, and after a brief stint in an administration (which she soon found too boring for her :-p), she started Mellow with her sister. And that's when she realized that she would always want to work in the food industry and/or entrepreneurship! She then developed projects for Färm, and finally found herself fighting against food waste with Foodwin.

Of course, as Noémie can't do only one thing at a time, she launched several projects (Mimosa Brunch and Merci pour l'invit') and she continued to develop her curiosity for the food world, whether in Belgium or elsewhere. She is passionate about food, but even more so when it’s sustainable and pays all the people behind the product fairly. It is fundamental for her that each person is recognized for their work, and that the products that come out of the ground/workshop/kitchen have a story, which she loves to tell anyone who will listen. 

In short, Noémie is a specialist in the field, she knows a lot of actors and actresses on the Belgian scene. And through the company she founded, Mingle Food, she likes to develop projects with her clients and then give them the keys to make them happen.
